Join experienced London Natural History Society (LNHS) invertebrate recorders to get help with specimen identification and record verification in the well-equipped UK Centre for Nature at the Natural History Museum (NHM). Microscopes and lab equipment will be available for use and the LNHS library will be accessible for attendees to make use of this comprehensive resource. Recorders of all abilities are welcome.
This event is aimed at adults only. It’s free to attend and invertebrate recorders of all abilities are welcome, but booking is essential. These events tend to be oversubscribed with long waiting lists so please do not book unless you intend to attend (and cancel your space if you are no longer available).
Please note that this event will involve individuals collecting, preserving and killing invertebrate specimens for identification purposes.
We encourage all participants to bring their own invertebrate specimens to identify during the sessions. However, if you do not bring your own specimens, there are other activities which are available.
