Come celebrate Hemisferio Cuir, our anthology of Young Queer Latin American poetry at Una Marson Library in London on Thursday 24th July.
Hosted by the book’s editor Leo Boix, this event will feature video readings of the poems from the book in both Spanish and English. Leo will also be talking about the project, the poets, and the editorial process.
Hemisferio Cuir brings together more than 30 LGBTQ+ poets from across Spanish-speaking Latin America, celebrating a diverse range of stories and ideas about contemporary queer lives.

The event starts at 7.30pm but will be preceded by a Bachata Dance Class at 6.30, led by Sanura Dance, London’s queer and FLINTA-focused dance community. Everyone is welcome and you’ll learn to both lead and follow in a fun, empowering space. You can reserve a spot for the dance class here.
