Grief, Rage & Release Ritual

We welcome you whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, a breakup, a miscarriage, an abortion, a pet, or even the weight of collective grief in these times.

Grief & rage are universal human emotions; but they have been pushed into the shadows. The suppression of our so-called ‘negative’ feelings causes problems on a personal & collective level: disease in the body, loneliness, anxiety & depression, relationship issues & potentially violence, when these emotions erupt without warning.

My intention is to create safe, sacred spaces for us to shine light & compassion on the challenges of our united human experience. Through sharing our stories, moving our body & activating our primal voice, we can release the charge stored in our cells around traumatic & painful events, creating more lightness in the body & openness in our hearts.

In this ritual space, all of you is welcome. This is an opportunity to scream, cry, stomp, shout, & shake it out, supported by community. You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, seen & held.

What to expect:

► An embodied journey using movement, breath & sound to help release heavy emotions
► Practices to self-soothe & co-regulate, inviting safety & ease into the body
► A group healing transmission for the collective

When we allow lifeforce energy to flow freely through us, we create space for connection, pleasure & joy. Our anger is also potent medicine. It teaches us about our boundaries, needs & desires. In this space you are invited to listen to your body’s innate wisdom & receive the messages which are often harder to hear during the hustle of everyday life.

The benefits of this work ripple out to our families & communities. When we release stuck energy, we create more space for aligned, heart-centred action & healthy relating.

Who is this for?

This event is open to most abled bodies of all genders. Please read the physical requirements below & get in touch before booking if you are unsure if this will be suitable for you.

Physical requirements:
You will be sitting on the floor for up to 30 mins at a time. Bolsters and cushions are available. If this is not possible for you please let us know before booking.
If you have a physical or psychological condition that is triggered by loud music and sounds and/or movement that activates the nervous system, please reach out before booking to see if this event is suitable for you.
If you have had a recent highly traumatic experience, PTSD or a condition that might restrict you from participating, please get in touch to assess if this is a safe space for you.
Cacao (raw chocolate) will be served – a stimulating medicine for the heart (consisting of raw, organic cacao beans ground down into a paste) sweetened with honey or agave. If you have a heart condition or are very sensitive to caffeine-like substances, or for any other reason, you can opt not to drink it.

No prior experience of this type of healing work is necessary. Everything is an invitation; you have full sovereignty over your body.

The tools I share can be integrated into your everyday life to help you connect with & release heavy emotions as they arise - becoming masterful at feeling fully, but not becoming, your emotions.
