About this Event

🌀Gong sounds for all those with an extra need including neuro diverse, Down syndrome and everything in between (14+)

🌀A Sound Journey for Deep Rest, Sensory Ease & Emotional Reconnection
Held in the Heart of Highgate

Do you or your teen long for a place to pause, breathe, and simply be — where sound soothes the senses, and nervous system overwhelm melts into calm?

You are warmly invited to a gentle Gong Bath, thoughtfully designed for special needs, neurodiverse, autistic and all in between young people aged 14+, and their carers. Whether you're navigating sensory processing challenges, emotional stress, or simply need a break from the demands of everyday life, this is your space to exhale and be held in sound.

🌟 What is a Gong Bath?
A gong bath is a therapeutic sound experience. You lie down (or sit — however you’re most comfortable) while the soothing vibrations of the gong wash over you, calming the mind and inviting emotional release, stillness, and self-regulation.

💙 Why It’s Perfect for SEN, Neurodiverse and Autistic Teens
This is more than sound therapy — it’s a carefully curated environment of sensory sensitivity, emotional safety, and relational attunement. Ideal for teens who:

  • Feel overstimulated or anxious
  • Carry emotional tension or burnout
  • Struggle with traditional talking or mindfulness approaches
  • Seek inner calm, grounding, and connection

🌸 What You’ll Experience:

  • A soft, quiet space with low lighting and minimal visual/sensory input
  • Gentle grounding guidance and choice-based participation
  • Lying down or seated with cushions, mats, or blankets (all provided)
  • A 45–60 minute immersive sound journey with the gong
  • Optional grounding time afterwards with warm tea and gentle conversation

🧍‍♀️ Who Can Attend:

  • Neurodiverse teens aged 14+ including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and more
  • Parents, carers, or guardians are welcome to join and receive rest themselves

📍 Where: A peaceful, accessible studio in Highgate, North London
🗓️ When: Weekly or fortnightly sessions (please enquire for dates)

✨ This is a nurturing, non-judgemental space — free from pressure or expectation. Come as you are, and be met with sound, softness, and care.
