Folk in the Cellar's autumn season starts with the welcome return of Lou & Leo (Louella JC and Leo Palzer), a singer-songwriter duo accompanying themselves on guitar, banjo and ukulele.
Their shared excitement for carefully crafted harmonies and each other’s songs first led to their collaboration in 2022 and they’ve been performing together at folk clubs and other music venues across London ever since. They combine an original repertoire of songs of love, birds, anger, revenge, moth eradication and questionable parenting - plus re workings of songs from the English and American Folk traditions. They are accompanied by Craig Hilton on percussion.
