As the joy of the summer draws to a close, and the ‘back to school’ and ‘back to work’ routines return, you may be experiencing more tension or squabbles in your household. Conflict is unavoidable in life, be it in our relationships with family, friends, colleagues or even strangers, so how can we manage it more effectively?
Today we are thrilled to welcome Katie Goldfinch, broadcaster, mediator and host of the podcast How Not to F*** Up Your Kids, to share with us how we can improve the quality and outcome of conflict at the personal level. Katie specialises in Conflict Resolution for neighbourhood disputes and intergenerational family dynamics. She is also currently working on a global peace building project with the Institute of Global Negotiation to disseminate conflict resolutions tools internationally.
We are also excited to have the multi-talented Yvonne Murray share some of her spoken word. Yvonne is a poet, inspirational motivator and author who loves to manipulate words into stories, hurts into lessons and to empathise with those who share similar paths.
