Emergency Preparedness Day at Fanshawe College

This year, we are excited to partner with Fanshawe College to host our Emergency Preparedness Day event! Join us at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd. on Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a day full of fun activities, prizes, and emergency preparedness tips!

Activities:

*Event kick off and speeches from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

*Explore emergency vehicles and chat with first responders

*Learn from community organizations about emergency preparedness and recovery

*Enjoy our obstacle bouncy castle

*Have fun with our emergency-themed photobooth wall

*Check out our recruitment booths set up in Forwell Hall

*Play with therapy dogs

*Paint a Plow

*Listen to story times from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., 12 to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 2:30 p.m.

*London Search and Rescue – Adventure Smart Hug a Tree presentation from 1 to 2 p.m.

*Participate in our contest giveaway: We will be announcing our contest giveaway winners at 2:30 p.m.! Make sure you hand in your entries by 2:15 p.m.

We are thrilled that the following food trucks will be joining us from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.:

*Mr. Cool Icecream
*Grill 'Em
*Koshri Express

Outdoor activities will take place in lot 6. There will be additional activities, including the recruitment zone and story times, inside Forwell Hall.

Getting there:

There will be free public parking available in lot 5. Please enter through Cheapside St.
