This is a one-day level 3 course. The qualification
covers the roles and responsibilities of the first aider and how to assess an incident; first aid skills in CPR and use of an AED;providing first aid to a casualty who is choking; and dealing with external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock. This is a certificated course and the awarding body is Highfield.
The cost is £10 unwaged or £50 waged
It is essential to bring photo ID on the day - your passport, driving licence etc.
There is a short multiple choice test at the end.
