A New Chapter for St. Paul’s Cathedral: London’s Oldest Church Re-Imagined
On Thursday, June 19, London’s oldest church, St. Paul’s Cathedral, embarks on an exciting new era, unveiling its breathtaking transformation in an exclusive advance showing, before welcoming
the community and the Anglican National Church gathering into its revitalized space later this month.
WHAT: UNVEILING THE TRANSFORMED ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
For close to 200 years, St. Paul’s has stood at the heart of London’s downtown core as a sacred space, as the ‘seat’ of the Anglican Diocese of Huron, as a centre for social justice, and as a time-honoured venue for art and music. Now, with extensive renovations to its interior gathering space, St. Paul’s expands its core spiritual mission to include a new role as creative and cultural hub, welcoming the city and the community into this ‘one-of-a-kind’ space in new ways and for new uses.
