Once leaders in intellectual and scientific progress, Muslim societies now face a deepening divide between secular and religious education. Through informed dialogue, we will examine the roots of this divide and explore pathways toward a unified, value-driven educational model grounded in the Islamic tradition.

Chair

Dr Ali Ahmed Shuaib: Director of Policy and Communication at the Centre for Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. He works as a Consultant in General Practice and Associate Specialist in Otolaryngology, He has also developed a passion for Lifestyle Medicine and Medical Education.

Dr Safaruk Chowdhury :Academic Director of the Centre for Islamic Knowledge.  Research Scholar in Islamic theology and philosophy, Ibn Rushd Centre of Excellence for Islamic Research.
