About this Event

Amid the excitement surrounding AI, too few people in the AI Houseparty are talking about the strategically important role that data is playing in this seismic industry shift. For those in enterprise, this is their unique opportunity.

We’ve brought together some of the most important industry leaders in data to discuss how the output quality of an LLM is fundamentally linked to the quality of training data, how to understand data lineage in terms of AI, and the material importance of this underappreciated asset to the evolution of AI.

Oli Bage (Technical Strategic Advisor at The Open Data Institute and AI, Data & Analytics Controls lead at EDM Association) will provide the positioning for the discussion and then join a panel of industry leading experts, including:

• Lexy Kassan (Lead Data & AI Strategist at Databricks)
• Florian Douetteau (CEO & Co-Founder of DataIku)

This panel discussion will be moderated by Meryem Arik (CEO & Co-Founder of Doubleword).

There will be a mix of flash and community talks, including:

Today's licensing environment is complex, manual, and high-risk, making it difficult to move quickly while maintaining compliance. They are active contributors to the W3C Rights Automation for Market Data Community Group, that shapes a standardised, machine-readable framework for data licences, enabling every player in the supply chain, from data vendors to end users, to benefit from clearer rights expression, streamlined integration, and enforceable compliance - Georgia Dean (Product Manager, AI & Ontology)
• Jesse Wright (Open Data Institute), who will provide a short overview on his academic research into Web/AI and the SOLID initiative.
