Thanks to the family law team at the London offices of Withers Worldwide, I am taking this training on the road!
On September 12, you can join me for a one-day training in Conscious Contracts, at the Withers main floor training space.
Curious about Conscious Contracts - and how the process and approach fits with separation and divorce? In this one day training, we will work with insight method and Conscious Contracts process to enhance our ability to engage clients in the discussions need to create agreements that truly reflect:
� their values - individual and shared (no forced “mutualization”!) and how these values will guide decision-making
� the way each client learns and engages (with one another, and generally) to improve communication in their chosen areas for improvement (they get to choose!)
� how they will make parenting decisions together (and what they agree to decide independently)
� how they will address change and engage in disagreement. A bespoke plan that takes into account all of the above.
� all wrapped up in an agreement that includes terms and conditons the parties choose to commit to - with all the required legal provisions included in plain language but meeting jurisdictional legal requirements.
What resonates for me? This is what we aspire to when we offer out-of-court resolution in mediation and collaborative practice. It’s what we aspire to when we assemble interdisciplinary teams to help families.
And it’s highly practical - making room for the wide array of “types” who are drawn to this work - and the complex arrangements that define most families.
