Join the Alliance for Police Accountability (APA) for a half-day Civil Society Briefing Session focused on the latest developments in the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC)Police Race Action Plan (PRAP) and the emerging Civil Society Oversight Model.
After a particularly eventful summer, including major shifts at government level and the appointment of a new Home Secretary, this session provides an important opportunity to reconnect, reflect on progress, and plan the next steps in our collective advocacy for racial justice and police accountability.

This briefing will create space to assess the current policy landscape, consider shared priorities, and shape the way forward for independent, civil society-led oversight.
Following the session, participants will be invited to review the draft oversight model in detail and submit amendments and feedback by late November 2025.
Kindly note that an agenda will be circulated shortly along with a copy of the proposed independent overisght framework model for review.
