You're warmly invited to a small group workshop:
Body Image and Confidence
Wednesday, 28 May | 6:00–7:30 PM | For a group of 8
We all live in bodies—and yet, many of us carry quiet, painful stories about how we feel in them. This 90-minute workshop is a gentle space to explore the relationship you have with your body and how it shapes your confidence and self-worth.
Body image isn’t just about how we look. It’s about how we experience our bodies from the inside out—how we think about them, how we feel in them, and how we move through the world because of them. It’s deeply personal, layered, and often shaped by things we’ve never had a safe space to unpack.
When we don’t feel good in our bodies, it can be hard to feel good in ourselves. Studies show that as much as a third of our self-esteem is linked to how we view our physical selves. So when body image is low, our sense of worth can quietly diminish too. It’s not easy—but it’s not something we have to face alone.
This is an invitation to pause, reflect, and begin to reconnect with your body in a more compassionate way. In a small, supportive group, we’ll gently explore how we see ourselves, where those beliefs come from, and how we can begin to shift them.
About the facilitator:
Galia Georgieva is an experienced psychotherapist, and co-founder of InclusiMind CIC, with a diverse and interdisciplinary background in forensic psychology, legal studies, neuropsychology, and trauma-informed therapy. She has delivered over 8,000 clinical hours across the UK, working with individuals, young people, and families in both statutory and voluntary sectors, including extensive experience with leading mental health organisations.
Her academic and professional journey began with a strong foundation in the Humanities, culminating in a diploma that integrated studies in history, psychology, philosophy, and art. She went on to complete a Master’s Degree with extended specialisation in forensic sciences, criminology, legal psychology, family law and mediation, and human rights. During this time, she developed a deep interest in the emotional dynamics underpinning legal cases, prompting her transition into the field of psychotherapy.
Galia holds a Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside qualifications in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and further training in Jungian psychology, trauma recovery, child and adolescent mental health, addiction counselling, positive behaviour support, conflict resolution, and relational therapy. Her CBT training includes specialist modules in trauma, depression, anxiety, and changing addictive behaviours, as well as child and adolescent adaptations of CBT frameworks.
She has continued her professional development in Neuropsychology, with a focus on neuroplasticity, emotional regulation, and the neurological impact of trauma. Her understanding of brain-behaviour relationships enhances her integrative approach, which weaves together psychodynamic depth work, Gestalt principles, evidence-based cognitive models, and holistic awareness. Her clinical focus includes issues such as insecure attachment style, trauma responses, low self-worth, relational challenges, and identity development.
In 2024, Galia co-founded InclusiMind CIC, a values-led mental health organisation that offers affordable and inclusive therapeutic services, reflecting her core belief that mental health support is a basic human need and should be accessible to all.
Her therapeutic style is relational, reflective, and attuned. She views therapy as a shared space of inquiry—where individuals can explore the emotional imprints of the past, build resilience in the present, and re-engage with a more grounded and authentic sense of self. Her work is trauma-informed and strengths-based, with a deep respect for the complexity and uniqueness of every human experience.
