BDA HIV Care F2F Study Day & AGM

The BDA HIV Specialist Group Committee are excited to announce our next upcoming study day & AGM which will take place face to face in London.

We will be covering a wide range of topics including talks from the team at CliniQ, a trans-led sexual health service and a session on supporting those of their weight management journey led by a weight specialist psychologist from Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

There will also be workshops discussing the management of cardiovascular disease in people liviing with HIV and continuing our weight debate from last year, discussing what role we play in weight management, particualrly with the rolling out of GLP-1s.

Registration on the day will open at 9.30am where hot/cold drinks and a light breakfast will be available and we will start the day with a welcome from our committee at 10am. Lunch will be provided and the day is expected to run until 4.30pm. We welcome anyone who is able to stay to join us for a drink at a venue nearby.
