Art and the NHS - a story of gratitude

Join us for inspiring conversation celebrating the connection between art and healthcare with Dr Giskin Day and artist Rachel Gadsden. Introduced by Jo Carter, Director of Nursing for the Heart, Lung & Critical Care Group, Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Trust.

Discover how art plays a transformational role in the NHS, providing comfort, relief and connection to patients, staff and visitors alike. Hear stories of gratitude and healing through various art forms, and learn about the inspiration for Gadsden’s Sydney Street exhibition.

The talk will take place in the Syndey Street Café, in the Reception of Royal Brompton Hospital on Sydney Street.
