Adab Collective invites you to our very first gathering: an evening of cinema, conversation, and community.
We’re launching with When the Floods Come, a powerful debut documentary by Pakistani filmmaker Nyal Mueenuddin, chronicling the human and environmental impact of the 2022 floods in Sindh, Pakistan. With care, clarity, and urgency, Nyal brings forward a story that refuses to be forgotten.

A live Q&A with the director, exploring the making of the film and the realities it reflects
This event is the first in a series championing Pakistani creatives shaping art and culture from the inside out. Join us as we carve space for stories that move, challenge, and connect.
