What is the 11 Plus Easter Course?

The 11+ Online Easter Course is an inspiring and enjoyable 4-day course designed to build confidence and knowledge in the essential subjects assessed in the 11+ exams: Mathematics, creative writing, comprehension, creative comprehension/creative analysis, puzzles and logic, non-verbal reasoning and verbal reasoning. This course also aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, so students can truly achieve mastery in the subjects. In addition, we will be helping children implement vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.

This course is suitable for children in Year 5 preparing for both independent schools and grammar schools in and around London. We have successfully prepared over 800 children over the past 12 years for schools such as: St. Paul’s, Wetherby, Latymer Upper, Dulwich College, King’s College, Emanuel School, Kingston Grammar, Westminster, Putney High, Francis Holland, North London Collegiate, Godolphin and Latymer, City of London, Wallington Girls/Boys, Nonsuch, Tiffins, St Olave’s and many others…

How is our course structured?

The 11+ Online Easter Course is a 4-day course, with 4 hourly lessons scheduled between 10am and 3.30pm each day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first two days of the course are dedicated to mathematics. The last two days of the course focus on comprehension and creative writing.

Lessons are conducted in small online groups, with a maximum of six children per tutor. Most courses have groups of just 2-3 children, ensuring personalised attention and focused learning. All classwork, homework, mock exams, assessments, online practice questions/assessments are included.

Mock exams take place at the end of the course, enabling you to see where your child is at. It also allows us to pinpoint any of your child’s sticking points, as well as their general strengths and weaknesses, so we can best provide help in reaching their potential.

These intensive courses are perfect for making the most of your child’s Easter holidays. Despite the intensive tuition, the class environment and lesson structure is built to be fun and engaging. This means that your child will be happy to learn, and more often than not, leave with a smile on their face and some new friends.

• Word problems and puzzles (maths)
• Picking vocabulary and its effects (creative writing and verbal reasoning)

• Evidence and explanations (comprehension)
• Advanced figurative devices (comprehension and creative writing)
• Exam technique (maths, creative writing and comprehension)

You can book for the full 4 days, or you can opt to book 2 days of Maths/2 days of English.

Who is the 11 Plus Easter Intensive Course for?

The 11+ Online Easter Course is designed for pupils in Year 5. Whether your child has been preparing for some time or is only just beginning their 11+ journey, they are very welcome to join. The course supports children at all stages and helps build confidence, knowledge and effective exam skills.

This course is recommended for Year 5 pupils preparing for independent or grammar school 11+ entrance exams. If your child is in Year 4 and working towards the 11+, we recommend enrolling in our 10+ courses.

Four hourly lessons scheduled between 10.00am and 4.00pm (UK time)

We run several courses throughout the year: February half-term, Easter holidays, May half term, Summer holidays, October half term and Christmas. Each course differs and focuses on a different set of skill sets that will greatly benefit your child in exams and in later life. We recommend your child repeat our 11+ courses at different dates in order to cover everything necessary for the 11+ exams.
