Our Quay County Public Health Office in Tucumcari is offering the annual flu vaccine during regular business hours and at locations across the region.
Flu vaccinations are available at the public health office for adults and children, with no appointment necessary Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. There is no charge for the vaccinations, and no insurance required. Anyone with health care coverage is asked to bring their insurance card, including Medicaid or Medicare, with them.
Starting Oct 6, health office staff will travel to various locations to provide flu shots for adults and children in both Quay and De Baca Counties on the following days and times:
• Monday, Oct. 6: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the House Community Center.
• Tuesday, Oct. 7: 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Tucumcari Senior Citizens Center.
• Wednesday, Oct. 8: 1-4:30 p.m. at Tucumcari Mesalands College and again Thursday, Oct. 9: 8:30 a.m. to noon.
• Thursday, Oct. 9: 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Tucumcari Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
• Tuesday, Oct. 14: 8:30-10 a.m. at San Jon Senior Center.
• Tuesday, Oct. 14: 10:30 a.m. to noon at San Jon School Health Center.
• Wednesday, Oct. 16: 9-11 a.m. at Logan Senior Center.
• Monday, Oct. 20: 1-3 p.m. at the Forrest Fire Department.
• Wednesday, Oct. 22 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Sumner Library Annex.
