Birding With BAS - Lundstrom Park Trail

Join us for the last birding trip of the year on December 6nd.

This month we will be visiting Lundstrom Park Trail.

Meet at the southwest corner of the Smith’s Marketplace parking lot (750 N. Main Street) at 8 AM for carpooling to our destination. We will be walking on a good level path for just over half a mile from Lundstrom Park to the country club golf course and back. The trail follows a small canal and has great edge habitat including numerous fruit trees. Both Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglets are likely, Sparrows, Townsend’s Solitaires and some woodpeckers too. You may even spot flamingos or a snowy owl if you look closely in some of the backyards! This is the last scheduled field trip of the year-long series. Thanks to everyone who has attended these and made them a great success.

If driving yourself plan to meet us at Lundstrom Park (1600 East 1350 North, Logan.) Follow 1350 east for a block and a half to the parking lot near the (closed) restrooms at about 8:15AM. We will start along the canal trail from there. We should be done by 10 AM.
