It’s that time once again for Grooves in the Park! This year we have BDot kicking off the day with an island reggae dj set. Then we have dj’s 3rain, Felipe Garcia, Mike C, Mario Dubbz, and Rick Preston playing some groovy, funky house music under the sun! Painting live will be Damage, Imax, and Willie Styles. MC Zeps and Sully Jane will be bringing the positive rhymes on the mic. So bring out your lawn chairs, blankets, food, drinks, family, friends, dancing shoes, smiles and good vibes! Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. We do this for the love of the music, life, and the 209 community. The park does charge a $6 cash only fee for entrance to the park, but we do not make money from this event. Any donations would be gladly excepted to help cover the cost. We are at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park (The Oaks Pavilion) inside the park. 4520 W. 8 Mile Rd., Stockton, CA.
The first Grooves in the Park was August of 1999 in Stockton, so this will be the 26year! The love for the music, arts, dancing, and positivity has kept us going over the years. Thank you to our dance music community all over, and the city of Stockton!
