Dahlia Centerpiece Workshop

Please join us at the Lodi Library to create your own beautiful centerpiece using fresh, local flowers and foliage! In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, Lodi flower farmer Phoebe Van Vleet of Thistle Flower Farm will demonstrate foam-free flower arranging techniques and talk about how to grow and harvest dahlias as cut flowers. We will use a mix of flowers, including dahlias, zinnias, marigolds, cosmos, celosia, gomphrena, and statice. Each participant will leave with one medium-sized centerpiece and one small jar arrangement.
