Tufty's Easter Egg-spert's Trail

Can you become an official Lapwing Egg-spert by the end of the trail?

Join Tufty the Lapwing on a fun Easter trail around the reserve! Answer questions, discover amazing lapwing facts and build your own nest using natural materials you find along the way! Once you've found them all, head back to the Visitor Centre to create the perfect nest for a bird, and get your prize! Available every day 10am- 4pm from the 3rd to 19th April, either buy your ticket for your trail sheet* online or pick up one on arrival from our Visitor Centre.

* 1 ticket = 1 trail sheet.

Is this trail buggy & wheelchair friendly?

Yes, the trail will take place along our Wetland and Leafy Loop trails, which are well surfaced and mainly flat. We do have mobility scooters available to hire too.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed on our trails, and in our cafe and shop too.

What facilities do we have?

We have a Cafe (open 10am-3pm), Shop (open 10am-4pm), Toilets, including Changing Places Toilet (open 24/7).

Entry to the reserve is free, but car parking charges apply (free for RSPB members and Blue Badge holders).
