Landscape Sketching Workshop

This workshop is for complete beginners who’d like to learn how to sketch landscapes. Surrounded by the beautiful natural surroundings of RSPB Loch Leven, we’ll explore what to sketch, how to get started, how to simplify what we see and how to create depth in our landscape sketches.

This will be a fun and informative workshop from local artist Clare Russell (www.clarerussellart.com) who is passionate about sketching nature and landscapes directly from life. Lots of demonstrations, guidance and tips will be given to get you started sketching landscapes.

Suitable for absolute beginners and those looking for a refresher. Good drawing skills are not required.

This workshop will be held outside at RSPB Loch Leven. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

In the unlikely event that the weather is too poor to be outside, we'll be based in the classroom or in one of the hides.

Adults only

What you’ll need to bring:
· Sketchbook or loose paper clipped to a board (any size, A4 is good)
· Pencil or pen (biro) or crayon for drawing
