What is a musician's worst nightmare? What if sound is the disease and the cure? Join Michelle Andres as she tells her story of how music is being used to heal her mind and soul after developing acute sound induced vertigo. Through the merging of piano music, poetry and paintings, she will lead a soundscape journey of how the great composers expressed themselves through the ages and in turn, inspired her to write her own music. Michelle cultivates musical storytelling as it should be: full of passion and artistry, of imagination and wonder expressly directed to each and every listener including herself.

Michelle is a pianist of remarkable versatility: soloist, composer, collaborative artist and teacher. As a soloist, she has given passionate and lyrical performances in Ukraine, the United States, and across Canada, putting audiences at ease with her fluid technique and rich, colorful tone. She is excitingly fearless in her choice of repertoire, from the most physically demanding of works to unique paths of intense emotional discovery.

Proceeds from the concert will go to Shelter Helps to build houses for those living in acute poverty in El Salvador.
