Welcome back to LLANO for - TRASH IS TRUTH! Embracing art and sustainability, all attendees can unlock their creativity by assembling materials rescued from our cleanup. In the spirit of the art practices of desert Dadaist Noah Purifoy, his assistant and dear friend Cathy Allen, and DEHSART.com, we will build empathy of place together through community sculpture.
Bookend your artmaking with a hike to our mail-art geocache, featuring new postage-paid postcards for 2025. Follow our self-guided tours to discover art, music, poetry, oral histories, and heritage in place, within our augmented reality installations amongst the ruins of an over 100-year-old Utopian experiment.
