Alasdair Beckett-King is a multi-award-winning comedian, writer, and animator whose clever, surreal comedy has charmed audiences across the UK. With appearances on BBC’s Mock the Week, Comedy Central Live, Radio 4’s The News Quiz, and even Glastonbury, he’s carved out a niche as one of the sharpest and most original voices on the circuit.
Following a series of viral online sketches and a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe run, Alasdair launched his first UK tour in 2023. That same year, his knack for storytelling took a new turn with the launch of the Montgomery Bonbon children’s mystery series with Walker Books, showcasing his singular wit and boundless imagination. He also co-hosts the cult favourite Loremen Podcast, delivering irreverent takes on bizarre and obscure bits of local folklore.
Expect a night of razor-sharp one-liners, delightfully odd characters, and unexpected tangents from a comedian who—despite looking like he might be a time-travelling Victorian librarian—is very much at the cutting edge of British comedy.
