What is a Women’s Circle?
It is a warm, safely held space where women gather to slow down, sit alongside one another and realise they are not alone in what they carry. There is no pressure to share, no expectation to perform and no demand to be anything other than exactly as you are.
In the circle, we gently explore the invisible labour, mental load and emotional weight many women live with every day. Through simple reflection, conversation and quiet moments of rest, we begin to notice what drains us and what truly refills our cup.
This is not therapy.
It is not self-improvement.
It is a remembering.
A remembering that rest is allowed.
That your needs matter.
And that being witnessed, without judgement or fixing, can be deeply restoring.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
The circle incorporates meaningful, thoughtfully held opening and closing rituals, space to settle with a hot drink and time to gently explore self care ideas and reflective questions.
Please bring:
Something warm and comforting such as a fleece or blanket for your knees or shoulders while we sit in circle.
A small object (palm size or smaller) or meaning to place in the centre of the circle and collect and take home with you again at the end. Previously people have brought anything from a letter, to a ring to a tea spoon with memories attached to a shell from the beach.
Please note – it is absolutely no problem if you forget either of these.
