This will be a campaign weekend and we are heading back to the jungles and swamps of Lustria.
We will be using many of the rules and scenarios from the Lustria and Conquest of the New World books, so expect pretty awful conditions , unless you have a lizardmen army of course!
The event’s aim is to be fun for all, first and foremost. But heavily thematic to really lose ourselves in the New World.
In brief:
Armies from the Lustria and CotNW books are encouraged as well as from the back of the Lizardmen book itself.
In a first for a Resurrection event, named characters from said books will be allowed on a first come first served basis.
Armies absolutely must be thematic and have reason to be in Lustria and a brief history or backstory to accompany your army is required.
While we will be using the additional rules from the books, the campaign system itself will be tweaked and based on the previous Resurrection Campaign.
You will be encouraged to name your general and come up with either an ability or magic item for him to use that would equate to a 50 point magic item. I.e Very handy, but not all conquering. Again, a backstory will be required.
The event will ideally be 10 players or more and of course no more than 5 of these can be lizardmen armies; first come first served.
As you might imagine I am using the setting as an excuse to build some more terrain to ensure the children of Sotek feel at home.
Great gaming mats and terrain.
Other points of note if you have not attended a Resurrection at my place before.
It’s very relaxing.
The bulk of the attendees are regulars and that is a very good thing as they are a very fine bunch of people.
