The Heart of Wales Line Community Rail Partnership is pleased to announce the launch of our Railway 200 celebrations with a special event - Trains, Tales and Tea ☕️🚂

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of reminiscing about the Heart of Wales Line - or the Central Wales Line, as it was once known.

This informal drop-in event invites you to bring along your stories, photographs, and memorabilia to share with others who treasure the railway’s rich heritage.

Enjoy tea, cake and conversation while exploring how the line helped shape the communities it served.

We’ll also be sharing details of our forthcoming exhibition celebrating 200 years of the modern railway in Britain.

A projection room will be available on the day, and we’d love to include your contributions in a shared slideshow.
