Join The Carbon Community at Glandwr Forest for Community Science Volunteering.
🔍 Community Science Volunteering is an opportunity for people to get involved in helping scientists with their work, by taking measurements or helping maintain the integrity of our research on the ground.
🌳 Activities for the day are not yet planned, stay tuned for updates.
🕙 Our ‘barn’ will be open for coffee and tea from 9:30am. The day will run from 10am to 4pm.
☕️ Lunch and Snacks: The Carbon Community will provide free hot drinks, snacks and a lunch suitable for vegetarians & vegans, with gluten-free options.
🌳 Glandwr Forest is an award-winning new native broadleaf forest and is home to The Carbon Community’s landmark carbon study, which aims to accelerate and enhance the sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in trees and soil to tackle the climate crisis.
