Join The Carbon Community at Glandwr Forest for our annual Tree Weekend.
🌳 Activities include: Caring for trees, removing tree shelters from trees that have outgrown them and pruning trees outside of our research areas.
🕙 10am - 4pm: Our ‘barn’ will be open for coffee and tea from 9:30am. The day will run from 10am to 4pm.
☕️ Lunch and Snacks: The Carbon Community will provide free hot drinks, snacks and a lunch suitable for vegetarians & vegans, with gluten-free options.
🌳 Glandwr Forest is an award-winning new native broadleaf forest and is home to The Carbon Community’s landmark carbon study, which aims to accelerate and enhance the sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in trees and soil to tackle the climate crisis.
