In-Person & Virtual: MG-MI Regional Health Summit & Resource Fair in Livonia

New MG treatments and therapies have been breaking into the headlines during the past few months. You’ll be on top of them all when you attend the MG-MI Regional Health Summit & Resource Fair on August 9 at the Vistatech Center in Livonia. MG patients, friends and family are invited to attend the event, which is being held in-person and virtually.

Featured speaker Dr. Alan Salgado, a University of Michigan neurologist who specializes in neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis, will present “Current and Future MG Treatments for Successfully Managing MG.”

Dr. Beth A. Kelley, a nurse practitioner with a PhD in Nursing Education and who is a Certified Nurse Midwife, will also be speaking as an MG patient and clinician. Physical therapist Rebecca Lindemann will discuss exercise and MG. A panel of MG patients will share their MG journeys.

Adaptive clothing samples and treatment coverage tables will be available, as well as information from MG sponsors.

There is no cost to attend virtually. A $10 per person charge for in-person attendees includes lunch and refreshments.
