By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

· Understand the global nature of postgraduate research

· Explore cultural transitions and challenges

· Work with peers in an international environment

· Unpack differences and reflect on challenges in communication styles

· Reflect on research identities and lived experiences of different cultures

Presenter information:

Dr Chiedza Ikpah

Chiedza has a Bsc in Psychology, MSc, in Human Resource Management, PGCE in Secondary Education. Her expertise is in Teaching and Learning, Human Resource Management, Research Project Management and her major research interests include Diversity and Inclusion, Education and Children’s Services, Widening Participation, Teacher Recruitment and Retention
