Bach’s setting of St Matthew’s account of the Passion of Christ features two choruses and twoorchestras. The singers and players of the Collective will include eight vocal soloists: AnnaCrookes & Annamarie Newton sopranos, Daniel Townley & Merel-Magali contaltos, Joseph Martin & Sam Rose tenors and Thorvald Blough & Joseph Murphy basses, who will be joined by Oscar Bowen-Hill as Evangelist and James Connolly as Christus.
