Запрошуємо на кінопоказ сімейного фільму українського виробництва з англійськими субтитрами "Сторожова застава" у межах кіномарафону до Всесвітнього дня дитини у та міжнародної ініціативи «Культура проти війни».
«Сторожова застава» — це український пригодницький фільм, де сучасний школяр Віктор випадково потрапляє через магічний портал у часи Київської Русі. Там він знайомиться з богатирями Іллею Муромцем, Добриною та Олешком, і разом вони відбивають навалу половців.

Мета — об’єднати українських дітей та їхні родини, зберегти українську мову й культуру, а також створити простір єдності та радості. Це чудова можливість для дітей та родин подивитися український фільм рідною мовою, пізнавати героїв, пейзажі та традиції України, а також ділитися ними з британськими друзями. Беріть з собою ваших англомовних знайомих і разом створіть атмосферу кіновечора у бібліотеці.
Проєкт ініційовано Асоціацією «Дивись українське» за підтримки Європарламенту.

Організатор - Kryla Culture за співпраці з СУБ Ліверпульська гілка. Разом ми поширюємо українське кіно, культуру та створюємо простір єдності і радості для дітей та сімей.

Кінопоказ відбудеться у дитячій залі бібліотеки о 14.00 - 15 листопада. Тривалість - 110хв.

We invite you to a screening of the Ukrainian family film The Stronghold with English subtitles, held as part of the film marathon dedicated to World Children’s Day and the international initiative Culture VS War.

"The Stronghold" is a Ukrainian adventure film where a modern schoolboy named Viktor accidentally travels through a magical portal to the times of Kyivan Rus. There, he meets legendary warriors — Ilya Muromets, Dobrynya, and Oleshko — and together they fight off an invasion of the Polovtsians.

The aim of the event is to bring together Ukrainian children and their families, preserve the Ukrainian language and culture, and create a space of unity and joy. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children and families to watch a Ukrainian film in their native language, discover Ukrainian heroes, landscapes, and traditions, and share them with their British friends. Bring your English-speaking friends along and enjoy a cozy movie night at the library!

The project is initiated by the Watch Ukrainian Association with the support of the European Parliament.
Organised by Kryla Culture in cooperation with Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain – Liverpool Branch. Together, we promote Ukrainian cinema and culture, and create a joyful and united space for children and families.

The screening will take place in the library’s children’s hall at 14:00 on November 15 (110min.)
