Join us for an unforgettable evening of fine wine and incredible Italian cuisine at the beautiful Terra Mia in Livermore! On Thursday, August 21st at 6 PM, McGrail Vineyards teams up with Terra Mia for a five-course Winemaker Dinner that promises to delight the senses and leave you feeling like you’ve spent the evening on the hillsides of Tuscany—with a Livermore Valley twist.
Our winemaker, Mark Clarin, will guide you through each course, sharing the stories behind our wines, the vineyards they come from, and the decisions that make each vintage unique. You’ll get the inside scoop while sipping and savoring perfectly paired dishes.
✨ A Taste of the Menu:
We’re starting with bubbles! The Gracie Sparkling kicks off the night alongside a bright duo of Crudo di Spada (swordfish crudo) and Prosciutto e Melone. Think citrus, sea salt, and silky texture dancing with crisp effervescence.
Next up, the 2023 Peyton Paige Sauvignon Blanc meets Risotto al Limone e Mais Arrostito—a creamy corn and lemon risotto kissed with thyme, Parmigiano, and a drizzle of lemon-infused olive oil. It’s sunshine in a bowl and a glass.
And for the main event? The 2021 Good Life Cabernet pairs beautifully with Tagliata alle erbe, a marinated sirloin steak served over garlic and cauliflower purée with a touch of truffle oil. Bold, rich, and absolutely indulgent. Don’t worry there are a couple more courses, but we want to leave some for surprise.
