✊ WORKERS OVER BILLIONAIRES: LABOR DAY NATIONWIDE 50501 PROTEST
📅 Monday, September 1
🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Starting under the Broadway Bridge (Little Rock side) at the Broadway Bridge pedestrian on-ramp (same meet-up spot as the No Kings March)
On Labor Day, working people across Arkansas and the nation will rise up to say loud and clear: enough is enough.
Billionaires and their political enablers are attacking our communities - privatizing our schools, slashing healthcare, criminalizing immigrants, and gutting the programs we rely on. But we’re not going anywhere. We will fight back with solidarity, strength, and purpose.
Join us under the Broadway Bridge in Little Rock Riverfront Park for a powerful opening program featuring local organizers and workers (stay tuned for speaker announcements). Then we will march onto the bridge itself, lifting up our demands for dignity, justice, and economic liberation.
We are proud to announce that local Arkansas unions will be joining us in action. Unions are the backbone of the labor movement and a vital force in the fight for working-class power. Their voices and presence on Labor Day reflect a long tradition of organizing, resistance, and collective bargaining for a better future.
Stay tuned for an official list of participating unions.
This Labor Day, we demand:
1. Stop the billionaire takeover and corruption in government.
2. Defend Medicaid, Social Security, and public programs.
3. Fully fund public schools, housing, and healthcare.
4. End the attacks on immigrants, Black, Indigenous, trans, and marginalized communities.
5. Invest in people—not war and corporate profits.
6. End the war on working people and our right to organize.
This is a continuation of the movement we launched on May 1st. Together, we will demand a world that works for all of us—not just the wealthy few.
