Celebrate Spring in Midtown at the Spring Fling Festival! 🌸
Join us for a joyful afternoon of fun, creativity, and community connection in the heart of Midtown Little Rock! The Spring Fling Festival is a family-friendly celebration filled with hands-on activities, local flavor, and neighborhood spirit. We’re closing part of Durwood Road to create a safe, walkable space where everyone is welcome.

Explore themed activity zones throughout the festival—designed for all ages to learn, play, grow, and connect. Whether you're planting, painting, playing, or meeting neighbors, there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy!



🌿 Nature & Backyard Habitat Zone

Explore how plants, animals, and people all share the same backyard—right here in Arkansas! This special area brings together hands-on experiences for kids and families to learn, play, and protect wildlife. Discover the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem and get inspired to create your own pollinator-friendly garden at home.

  • 🦎 Creature Feature with the Little Rock Zoo
    Come meet the Little Rock Zoo! Get up close with some of Arkansas’s amazing animal neighbors and explore how plants, animals, and people all share the same backyard. Kids and families can take part in fun citizen science activities and learn how to help protect wildlife right here at home.
  • 🌿 Create a Backyard Habitat
    A fun, educational activity for kids to design nature-friendly spaces.
