Family Matters: A Series of Conversations on Healing & Peace

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, DOC Project is proud to introduce "Family Matters: A Series of Conversations" -- A four part series on Healing & Peace, a powerful new initiative created to bring families together for open, transformative conversations around mental health, emotional wellness, and healing across generations.

The premiere session will feature a special appearance by actress and reality TV personality Tara Wallace. Known for her transparency and strength, Tara became a widely recognized voice during her time on VH-1’s Love & Hip Hop. She has since emerged as a passionate advocate for women, emotional growth, and personal healing, often serving as a mentor to those navigating their own wellness journeys.

The evening will include a thoughtful panel discussion with licensed clinicians and mental health professionals. Together, they will offer insight into what it means to pursue healing—within ourselves and in our relationships. Following the panel, Tara Wallace will join Isley Gooden of KATV ABC 7 for a conversation reflecting on forgiveness and the emotional work that leads to lasting change.
