On July 28th, the exact 275th anniversary of the death of Johann Sebastian Bach, Colin MacKnight will perform the complete Clavierübung III, Bach's largest and most demanding organ work. "Clav III," as it is informally called, comprises an opening prelude, 21 chorale preludes, four duets, and a concluding fugue, totaling about 100 minutes. This performance will be the apex of the complete Bach organ works series, which also serves as a fundraiser for the Trinity Choir's 2026 trip to Canterbury, England. A reception will follow the performance.
