FACTORY 4 OR 6 CYLINDER 4WD DEMO DERBY
Rules And Regulations:
Vehicles must be registered and inspected 30 minutes before the start of show, or you will not run.
A. Each driver must fill out an entry blank. Each additional pit crew member will be required to purchase a pit pass the day of the event.
B. All rules and regulations must be observed and followed. Track operators and promoters reserve the right to approve or reject all entries.
C. Only drivers will be permitted on the track.
D. No vehicles permitted on the track before the heat they are to participate in.
E. Members of the auto demolition derby are not employees of the track operators or the promoter of the demolition derby.
F. No alcoholic beverages allowed. Drivers that are or have been drinking will be disqualified.
G. All drivers must wear safety belts and helmets.
H. Long sleeved shirts, long pants, and closed toe shoes are required.
I. All drivers must be present one-half hour before scheduled start time.
J. Drivers may maneuver forward or backward. No ramming the driver’s door deliberately.
K. Time limits will be set by the judges. If a driver does not hit a live car within the time limit, it will lead to disqualification.
L. The derby will be composed of a feature.
Participating regulations
1. Any mini to mid size suv/ mini pick up truck FACTORY 4 or 6 cylinder may compete, examples dodge dakota, s10 blazer.. (no full size trucks)
2. All vehicles must appear stock, unless noted below.
3. All glass, plastic trim, outside door handles, chrome, fiber glass noses and rear seats must be removed rubber bumper covers are optional.
4. All anti-freeze and freon must be drained prior to arriving at the track.
5. All airbags must be removed.
6. Battery may be moved to passenger front floor. Must be secured and covered.
Fuel system
7. Electric fuel pumps are permitted. They must have a visible switch for track personnel in case of fire.
8. Boat tanks and fuel cells may be mounted in rear seat area. Must be securely mounted. Stock gas tank may be used if located in front of rear axle. Under car. No gas tank protectors allowed.
Tires
9. You must have 4 factory and tires on the car.
10. Tires must be d.o.t only. ( No aggressive mud tires ) No doubles, liquid or foam filled. No outside flaps. No studs or wheel weights no screws.
11. Tubes and snow tires are permitted.
12. Donut spares permitted
13. Factory steel or aluminum wheels only. No modifications of any kind.
Body
14. Hood and trunk may only be fastened down with chain or wire only. 4 spots only on each no threaded rod,
15. Hoods must be open for inspection. (1) hole 12”x12” hole in hood in case of fire
16. All sunroofs must be covered with metal
17. Doors; must be chained, wired or cabled shut. No welding (4) spots per door
18. Body mounts must remain stock.
19. Seat bar only will be allowed 3-inch pipe max. Can only be mounted door post to door post. Or (1) roof chain per side
Suspension
20. Suspensions must move with one man’s effort. No reinforcing of any kind. No chaining suspension any questions regarding this, call.
21. Front frames may not be tilted using any method.
22. If running a stock fan, the hood cannot be cut out above it.
Engine
23. Engine swaps are not acceptable. Engine mounts may not be welded or altered in anyway.
24. Exhaust may be cut off but must remain under the vehicle. The rest of the exhaust system must be removed as well
25. Drive shaft must remain factory stock. ( Rears & also front differentials may not be welded)
26. Shifting mechanism may not be altered.
27. The gas/brake pedal may not be altered.
Bumpers
28. Bumpers must be oem no bumper swaps between makes and models. No reinforcing or welding you may add (2) bolts 3/8 max to each bumper to hold it . You may chain the bumper to the hood but doing so will count towards your (4) spots permitted.
29. This is a strictly stock class no extra filler metal or welding will be permitted.
30. If you move the computer box it must remain in front of the cal.
31. To make inspection faster and easier on you, please follow all the rules.
32. All decisions by judges are final.
33. Please remember this a stock show, concerns reguarding a vehicle you may have please call.
34. This event will be a feature only.
35. Winning feature cars will be reinspected after feature if caught cheating all money will be forfeited.
36. Feature will pay 600 to the winner. 200 for second. 100 for 3rd
