ECPA, JIP Billiards, and Sharky's will be hosting a benefit tournament for one of our long time friends and a member of our Pool family!

Craig Rappold has been a long standing member of the Mountain Valley APA for 9 years. If you have never had the chance to meet him, you will not find another player with his sportsmanship. He has always been a guy who just plays to have fun. Him, along with his wife and daughter, all play this game we live and support it in all facets, so now when they need us, let's deliver!
Unfortunately, Craig has been diagnosed with cancer. Anyone who has a loved one who has been through this knows the intense emotional, mental, and financial burden this puts on a family. We would love to do our part to help!
We will have a blind draw 8-ball scotch doubles tournament. What that means is the players will be separated into higher, more skilled players, and lower, less skilled players. One player from each pool will be randomly assigned to play together. This tournament is about a day of fun and helping to support this family in need!
The entry will be $30 per player, in which $15 will go to the family and $15 will go to the tournament pot.
Tournament format will be BCA 8-Ball rules with races to 4 on the winner side and 3 on the one loss side.
There will be food and beverages available to purchase with proceeds from the sales being donated to the family
We also will be doing a giveaway for a Brand New Meucci Cues 21st Century 3 that was donated by ECPA. 100% of ticket donations will be given to the family. Tickets will be a $20 donation for 1 ticket, $30 for 2 tickets, and $40 for 3 tickets.
JIP Billiards will be on site streaming matches as well and will have plenty of guest commentary so feel free to jump in the box even if it's just to share some memories you have had with Craig.
