The Invisible World - Supernatural Encounters in R.I. with Michael E. Bell, Ph.D

You may have every reason to suppose that our rational age of science has cast out Rhode Island’s eclectic mix of magic and religion, yet the invisible world is still very much with us. We may no longer see extraordinary occurrences as demonic visitations or divine providences, but they still haunt us and cause us to wonder. Former State Folklorist Michael Bell will discuss both historical and contemporary accounts of contact with the invisible world from the perspective of a folklorist.
