The Lititz CROP Hunger Walk will be held on October 26, 2025. The walk will begin at Lititz Church of the Brethren, 300 West Orange Street. Registration is at 1:00 pm and the walk starts at 1:30 pm. We will walk a 1 mile or 3 mile route through Lititz and return to the church for snacks.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk fundraising events held in cities and towns across the United States, created to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster: cwsglobal.org. From providing clean water and hygiene training in Vietnam to combating droughts in Nicaragua to stocking shelves in hundreds of food pantries across the United States, CROP Hunger Walks are fighting hunger and building healthier communities.
From a CROP Hunger Walk, 25% of the funds raised are returned to the host community to support local hunger fighting efforts. Last year's LITITZ CROP Hunger Walk on November 10, 2024 raised $4,752 with a total of 19 walkers. Our leader in fundraising was Ralph Moyer, who collected $2,347 in donations! Of the total donations, 25% went to Warwick Community HUB, which received $1,188 to support their work providing local food resources.

Our goal for 2025 is to raise $5,500 and have 5 or more teams participating from the Lititz area. For nearly 50 years, local faith communities and individuals have participated in the Lititz CROP Hunger Walk!
