Parking + directions
PLEASE USE THE GPS LOCATION. There are several picnic areas/entrances to the park, please follow the GPS to the designated main entrance.
- Once you enter into the park, continue driving forward until you reach the entrance stand.
- If there's no attendant onsite, continue straight, you will pass a white and green sign and a trail crossing sign. (If there is an attendant, you will need to pay a $5 entrance fee, more details below).
- Follow the signs to the nature center and there should be ample parking in the lot.
There's a $5 entrance fee that goes toward the nature preserve center and wildlife.
There's two ways to pay:
1. If you'd like to pay by card, you can pay at the entrance if there's someone onsite. Otherwise, there's a green container that has a sign of a QR code that will allow you to pay online at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
2. If you have cash, you can grab a yellow envelop near the nature preserve center and place the funds within the envelop and drop it in the green container. There's a tear off ticket that you will then place on your dashboard.
