Lithgow Library is delighted to be hosting business dynamo and philanthropic powerhouse – Lucy Bloom - for a special “Meet the Author” event on Saturday 11 October, 2025.
With her career spanning over 3 decades, Lucy is always on a mission. Not only is she a global keynote speaker and a creative leadership expert, Lucy has been the CEO of a women’s health charity and has been responsible for raising of over $7m for a hospital and midwifery school in Ethiopia. She also rocks a pink Mohawk!
Lucy will be visiting Lithgow Library and speaking about her books
• “Get the girls out: a memoir of love, loss and letting loose”,
• “The manuscript: a story of revenge” – a novel, and
• “Cheers to Childbirth: a dads guide to Childbirth support; edited by Lucy Bloom”.

Lucy’s talk will commence at 10am. Lucy will be selling her books at the event, so bring along your money (cash or card accepted).
