Robotics Workshop with Anthony Head - Robot Battles for ages 8-14

The Lithgow Library is excited to welcome back Anthony Head from Western Enrichment with some exciting new workshops these school holidays!

The Lithgow Library would like to give a special thanks to Energy Australia for supplying us with a grant to allow us to promote STEAM programs within our Library program.

This 2.5-hour workshop is suitable for children aged 8 to 14 years both with and without prior experience with robotics and coding. Children will work in pairs to design, build and code a battle robot using LEGO Spike Prime kits.

After testing and modification, the robots will battle each other on a wooden plank in a round robin competition. Will your robot be the last one standing?
