Dead to Yew

Dead to Yew is a 6-mile guided walk that puts one of Britain’s most ancient and enigmatic trees at the heart of the journey.
The yew tree has long been entwined with myth, memory, and mortality. Found standing sentinel in churchyards across the country, it raises as many questions as it answers. Why is a tree so closely associated with death also a symbol of eternal life? Why does it flourish in places of mourning? Find the answers on this walk!
