Alton Natural History Society talk - The wildlife of St Kilda and the Hebrides

St Kilda is one of only 35 sites in the world to hold joint UNESCO World Heritage status for both cultural and natural heritage.

Naturetrek leader and speaker Sara Frost, who lived in the Hebrides for three years as a wildlife guide, will take us to St Kilda by sea from Oban, travelling through the beautiful Inner and Outer Hebrides. She will talk about the wildlife that inhabits the islands and surrounding waters – from otters, eagles and seabirds to dolphins, sharks and whales - while also giving us some insight into the life of the hardy St. Kildan people.

Tea, coffee and biscuits available for a suggested minimum donation of £1.
